The CSCAN – ETHERNET is a RS 485 / RS 232C (RTU side) to Ethernet (PC LAN side)converter. The conversion is both ways. Both ports are optically isolated. Serial to Ethernet Converter is also used in application like interfacing field instrumentation with SCADA/PLC/DCS.
